First Project: Connecting Your Clinic

How to create your first project in ClinGEO, connect your clinic website, and start AI analysis.

First Project: Connecting Your Clinic

A project in ClinGEO represents your clinic. You can connect multiple clinics to one account (the number depends on your plan).

Onboarding after registration

Immediately after confirming your email, the system will open the onboarding page — a step-by-step wizard for setting up your first project.

Step 1. Clinic name

Enter the official name of your clinic as it will appear in your dashboard. For example: "Bright Smile Dental Clinic".

Step 2. Website

Enter the clinic's website address without https:// and www. For example: brightsmile-dental.com.

Important: Provide the main domain where your clinic's service information is located. ClinGEO uses this domain for all audits and AI scans.

Step 3. City

Specify the city where your clinic is located. This is important for:

  • Properly forming queries to AI systems
  • Analyzing local competitors
  • Evaluating local indicators

Step 4. Clinic type

Choose the clinic type from the list (dentistry, general medicine, cardiology, etc.). The type affects the E-E-A-T and content scoring algorithms.

Step 5. First services (optional)

At this step you can immediately add 1–3 clinic services. Services are the medical procedures or specialties that AI systems will use to search for your clinic.

Examples: "Dental Implants", "Teeth Whitening", "Pediatric Dentistry".

Services can be added later in the Services Management section. See Services Management for details.

What happens after creating a project?

Immediately after completing onboarding, the system automatically:

  1. Runs demo audits — technical audit, content optimization, E-E-A-T, and local indicators with demo data. This lets you immediately see what a full analysis looks like.
  2. Opens the dashboard — displaying your CAI score and summary information for all metrics.

Note: Demo data is marked accordingly and shows the approximate audit structure. To get real data for your website, run an audit manually from the corresponding tab.

Adding additional projects

If your plan supports multiple projects:

  1. Go to Home → project name (top-left corner)
  2. Click "Add project"
  3. Complete the same onboarding steps

Editing a project

To change a project's name, domain, or city, go to Project Settings:

  1. Go to Profile → Settings or click the settings icon next to the project name
  2. Update the required fields
  3. Click "Save"

Important: Changing a project's domain does not delete existing audits, but new audits will be run against the new domain.
