Publish or schedule an article

Send an approved article to WordPress and verify the actual website result.

Before publishing, confirm that the latest saved article is approved, evidence checks are resolved, and the correct WordPress destination is verified. Writing access alone may not include publication permission.

Save a test draft

  1. Open the approved article's publishing screen.
  2. Select the intended WordPress connection.
  3. Choose Save as Draft.
  4. Review the result and open the WordPress post.
  5. Inspect formatting, links, featured image, and metadata in WordPress.

A WordPress draft is not publicly published. This first test helps catch theme or plugin differences before readers see the article.

SEO title and meta description describe the page for search results. Structured data describes its content to machines. Their exact handling depends on your WordPress setup; not every plugin supports the same fields.

Publish now or later

Choose immediate publication when the post is ready. For a future release, use Schedule for later in the publishing screen and select the date and time. Check the device's local time zone and verify the resulting schedule in WordPress.

Scheduling is supported for WordPress, not webhook or email copy delivery. A Scheduled result is not confirmation that the article is already public.

The Content Hub calendar helps organize work, but moving an item there should not be treated as proof that an existing WordPress schedule changed. Verify the actual post and its schedule in WordPress.

Confirm the outcome

ResultMeaning
Saved as DraftThe WordPress post exists as a draft.
ScheduledThe post is scheduled for a future release.
PublishedThe publishing request succeeded; open the article URL to verify it.
DeliveredA copy was sent; this is not confirmation of a public page.
Failed or partial successInspect each destination and resolve only the failed part.

Use the article link and Settings → Advanced → Publication History to check the destination and result.

Retry without creating duplicates

If the result is unconfirmed, WordPress may already have saved the post. Retry through the same article so Content Hub can recover the existing publication identity. Do not create a new article to work around the message.

Wait if publishing is already in progress. If the result remains uncertain, contact support with the article and destination details, without credentials.

After publication, refresh the blog inventory before planning more articles. Editing and republishing the same article updates its known WordPress post rather than intentionally creating a new one.
